Nothing could have prepared me for the water damage that occurred in our rental one weekend. The items we lost had to be replaced but we had no money. The lease says that we have the option to get renter’s insurance or not. However, we chose not to do so and that means that we have had to pay for all of this out of our own pockets. I really wanted to help my teenage son to get his own vehiole. The problem was that we didn’t have enough saved up and that the vehicle was too old to get a loan on it.
